Rottler und Rüdiger und Partner GmbH
Company Rottler und Rüdiger und Partner GmbH was founded in 1982 by the two families Rottler and Rüdiger. At that time they only had one product in their range: Desiccant for filling spacer bars, by company Bayer Leverkusen. As the insulating glass market was still young and open for innovations and due to keeping close contact to their customers, soon the idea of offering new products arose, e.g. Georgian Bars inside the IG unit. The introduction of the R&R head milling technology initiated the breakthrough of the Georgian bar, as well as a series of continued success and development around Georgian bar processing possibilities. Meanwhile they had founded a subsidiary for the manufacturing of speciality machines which introduced the first fully-automatic Georgian bar assembly robot "Quadrobot" in 2000, a machine which was integrated in a completely computer-controlled Georgian bar production line. Further developments followed, such as a tape applicator and controlled saw lines for the manual spacer bar production. In 2006, they took over the former company Bayer Bending technology. Another highlight was the presentation of Roweldo, the first ultrasonic frame welding robot for Swisspacer profiles, at the glass exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2008.
By founding company MPK in 1997 they have complemented their existing product range - trade and machinery - by product-specific services. Be it Georgian bar models, Georgian bar grilles, customized spacer bar cuttings or special solutions - MPK is perfectly equipped to process each and every special request. In 2010, company Kalweit joined the MPK group which tremendously increased the penetration of the market.
After having started a cooperation with a Danish company in 2005 which was the start of the production of blinds inside the IG unit, they decided on opening their own subsidiary R&R Sonnenschutz GmbH at Langenzenn in 2007. R&R Sonnenschutztechnik independently carries and develops the sun protection range by company Warema. These products - Ropaco blind systems - are meanwhile well established in the worldwide market.
